Mi Muñeca de Ganchillo... Caperucita Roja / My Crochet Doll... Little Red Riding Hood

My second crochet doll from Isabelle Kessedjian's book is an amigurumi Little Red Riding Hood that a friend gave to her niece for her First Communion.

As in the case of the farmer, I made the doll first and then the clothes so I could make the necessary adjustments even if actually I didn't make many changes to the original pattern.

Among all the designs in the book this is one of my favorites although as I already told you I would love to have the whole collection of dolls.

Happy (Crafting) Weekend

This week I have came back to another of my forgotten projects, a wool version of the Sabrina Sweater from  We Are Knitters which I started knitting at the beginning of 2016.

It is a design which I already know because it was my first  WAK pattern although then I made the original version which is with cotton balls.

Until the moment I have only made the front part but this wool is knitted very fast so being optimistic surely I will have a new sweater in one month.

I hope you will have a very creative weekend!

Usually at this time of the year I always start looking for patterns of hats and scarves that I would like to make but this year I feel like doing something different and I have chosen some ideas to make knit turban headbands.

Until now I have never dared to wear a headband but I find that those which seem a turban are very fetching so it is very likely this winter I will make one for me.

Depending on how it fits me maybe I will also make a whole turban.

Is anyone else in?

Iron Man de amigurumi / Amigurumi Iron Man

This summer I made my first crochet superhero (a Captain America for the son of one of my friends) and now I have repeated the experience making a little amigurumi Iron Man so little by little I can gather The Avengers together.

The pattern for this softy is from Fuwa Fuwa Studio as well, something I like because this way both superheroes are similar (in fact the pattern is almost the same).

In case you have any doubt I can tell you that there is a third superhero in the list...

Who will be the next one?

The Crafter's Home # 3 - Pfefferminzgruen

My latest proposal of a beautiful house for the  "The Crafter's Home"  is the home in Siegburg (Germany) of  Christin Pardun from  "pfefferminzgruen" DIY blog.

Apparently it is a typical home from the north of Europe, with great windows and simple decoration but in her case what stands out is the combination of neutral colours with some cheerful colour touches which most of the times are made by her with all type of materials: coloured papers, wool, miniatures, hama beads...

In addition something I like a lot and that makes it special is that according to the time of the year she changes the type of decoration introducing elements which correspond to each season or festivity.

Don't you think it is wonderful?
