Cosas que me gustan / Things I like #51 - "Zpagetti Crochet Bags" by Monzy

 

Todos los veranos repito la misma historia, me gusta buscar proyectos en los que pueda utilizar algunas de las bobinas de trapillo que tengo en mi "stash" y, aunque este verano llego tarde, he encontrado una idea que me gusta mucho.

Se trata de unos bolsitos hechos con "grannies" por Monzy  que no pueden ser más ideales.

¿No os parecen el proyecto perfecto para aprovechar los retos de trapillo?

Every summer I repeat the same story, I like to look for projects where I can use some of the zpagetti bobbins from my stash and, although this summer I am a little bit late, I have found an idea that I like a lot.

It consists of some "grannies" little bags made by  Monzy that couldn't be any cuter.

Don't you think they are the perfect project to use zpagetti leftovers?

Cosas que me gustan / Things I like # 50 - The Garden Party Blanket

No es muy habitual hablar de mantas cuando se acerca el verano pero hace unas semanas descubrí el patrón "Garden Party Blanket"  de Hattie Risdale   de "The Petal Shed"  y no he podido evitar compartir esta preciosa manta de ganchillo.

Me encanta el diseño de flores de los "grannies" y la combinación de colores pastel con otros tonos más brillantes me  parece perfecta para este tipo de manta.

Normalmente en esta época del año suelo dedicarme a proyectos más pequeños y rápidos de terminar pero me encantaría hacer una manta con hilo de algodón, me parece un buen proyecto para ir haciendo durante los meses de verano.

¿Qué os parece?

It's not very common to talk about blankets when summer is coming but a couple of weeks ago I found  "Garden Party Blanket" pattern by   Hattie Risdale from  "The Petal Shed" and I couldn't resist sharing this beautiful crochet blanket.

I love the design of the flowers of the grannies and I find that the combination of pastel colours with other brighter tones is perfect for this type of blanket.

Normally in this season of the year I use to make smaller projects which are quicker to finish but I would love to make a blanket with cotton yarn, I think is a very nice project to make along summer months.

Cosas que me gustan / Things I like # 49 - Crochet Raffia Net Bag

Todos los años cuando se acerca el verano me apetece hacer algún bolso de punto o ganchillo y, aunque siempre tengo algún proyecto pendiente, no pierdo la ocasión de buscar ideas nuevas.

Uno de mis últimos flechazos ha sido un bolso de ganchillo hecho con rafia diseñado por Cerise Paris  que me recuerda a los cestos de toda la vida con un toque un poco más moderno.  

Me parece un proyecto perfecto para hacer en verano bien siguiendo el patrón que está disponible en su tienda de Etsy  o, si el ganchillo no es lo vuestro, también tenéis la posibilidad de comprar el bolso listo para llevar.

Each year when summer approaches I feel like making some crochet or knit bag and, although I always have some pending projects, I don't miss the chance to look for new ideas.

One of my latest love at first sights is a raffia crochet bag designed by  Cerise Paris which reminds me of the classic baskets with a more modern touch.

I think it is a perfect project to make during the summer either making it yourself with the pattern which is available on her Etsy shop or, if crochet is not your thing, you can also buy the bag ready to wear.

Cosas que me gustan / Things I like # 48 - Fun Fan Blouse by Pickles

 

No es ningún secreto lo mucho que me gustan los diseños de Pickles  y, aunque no he incluido ninguno de sus patrones en mi "Make Nine Challenge"  de este año, la verdad es que si tuviera tiempo tejería casi todos sus proyectos.

El último flechazo de entre todas sus propuestas ha sido el patrón "Fun Fan Blouse",   un jersey de mohair en punto calado con mangas abullonadas que me parece el resumen perfecto las tendencias más recientes.

Por desgracia no me a dar tiempo a tejerlo este invierno pero va directo a mi lista de favoritos para hacer después del verano.

It is no secret how much I like  Pickles designs and, although I haven't included any of their patterns in my  "Make Nine Challenge" for this year, the truth is that if I had the time I would knit almost all of their projects.

The latest crush among all their proposals has been the  "Fun Fan Blouse" pattern, a mohair sweater in lace stitch with puffy sleeves which I think is the perfect recap of most recent trends.

Unfortunately I won't have time to knit it this winter but it goes straight to my list of favorites to make after summer.

Cosas que me gustan / Things I like # 47 - Celtic Comfort blanket by Drops Design

Ahora que empieza a hacer frío de verdad es cuando más apetece pasar tiempo en casa y, no vamos a negarlo, el plan de "peli, sofá y manta" es lo que nos viene a todos a la cabeza.

Desde el punto de vista de las personas que tejemos, podríamos añadir a esta combinación una buena labor que acompañe las tardes de sofá y es aquí donde he encontrado el que podría ser un proyecto perfecto para hacer este invierno, la manta "Celtic Comfort"  de Drops Design .

Seguramente lo ideal hubiera sido empezarla hace unas semanas para tenerla ya terminada pero a mí me gusta que las labores que estoy haciendo en cada momento acompañen a la estación, especialmente cuando hace frío porque no hay nada más agradable que tejer con lana bien gordita y calentita en pleno invierno.

¿No os parece un diseño perfecto para tejer estos días?

Now that cold weather has begun for real it is when it feels more like staying at home and, we can't deny it, the "films, couch and blanket" plan is what we all think about.

From a knitter point of view, we could add a good kntting work that would go well with couch afternoons and here is where I have found what could be a perfect project to make this winter,  "Celtic Comfort" blanket by  Drops Design.

Probably the best thing would have been to start it a couple of weeks ago to have it already finished but I like that the projects that I am making in each moment match with the season, specially when it is cold because there's is nothing more pleasant that knitting with thick and warm wool in the middle of the winter.

Cosas que me gustan / Things I like # 46 - Pull Rainbow by Katia Sanchez

Últimamente no pienso más que en tejer jerséis y, entre mis favoritos de esta temporada, está el jersey "Rainbow"  de Katia Sanchez.

Como me ocurre muy a menudo, con este jersey he tenido un auténtico flechazo. Me encanta el diseño de las mangas abullonadas y, cómo no, el arcoíris tejido en intarsia en la parte delantera.

Por si esto no fuera suficiente, Katia Sanchez promueve una producción sostenible de prendas de punto basada en la importancia de hacer compras conscientes escogiendo artículos que realmente nos enamoren y que están pensados para durar en el tiempo. 

Además, nos da la opción de comprar los jerséis ya confeccionados o de tejerlos siguiendo sus propios patrones (o incluso de asistir a uno de sus talleres monográficos para tejer los distintos modelos si tienes la suerte de vivir en París).

¿Alguien más está soñando con un jersey arcoíris, además de con un viaje a París?

Lately I think a lot about knitting sweaters and "Rainbow" pull by Katia Sanchez is  among my favorites of this season,

As it usually happens to me, I had a real crush with this sweater. I love the design of the puffy sleeves and, of course,  the intarsia rainbow on the front.

In case this was not enough, Katia Sanchez promotes a sustainable production of knit garments basing on the importance of making conscious purchases choosing items that we really love and that are conceived to last in time.

In addition, she offers the possibilty of buying the sweaters already made or of knitting them following her own patterns (or even attending one of her monographic workshops to knit the different designs if you are lucky enough to live in Paris).

Anyone else is dreaming of a rainbow sweater, as well as a trip to Paris?

Cosas que me gustan / Things I like # 45 - Bubble Button Blouse by Rilleruth

 

Sé que el verano está a punto de terminar pero siempre es un buen momento para compartir un top de punto bonito y para coger ideas,  así que hoy os hablo del patrón "Bubble Button Blouse"  de Rilleruth.

Como siempre me pasa desde hace algún tiempo, llegué a él gracias a Instagram  y me llamó mucho la atención por su originalidad: mangas abullonadas y una hilera de botones que pueden llevarse por delante o por detrás.

Para mí es el típico diseño que una vez tejido acaba convirtiéndose en uno de mis favoritos aunque, en este momento, tendría problemas para elegir en qué color tejerlo porque me encanta en todas las versiones que he visto.

Obviamente no me va a dar tiempo a tejerlo antes de que llegue el frío pero la buena noticia es que también hay una versión de invierno con manga larga.

I know summer is about to end but it is always a good moment to share a nice knit top and to grab some ideas, so today I am going to talk to you about  "Bubble Button Blouse" pattern by  Rilleruth.

As always happens to me lately, I found it thanks to Instagram and it really draw my attention by its originality: puffy sleeves and a row of buttons that can be worn in the front or in the back.

To me it is the kind of design that once knitted becomes one of my favorites although, at the moment, I find it quite difficult to choose a colour to knit it because I love it in all the versions I've seen.

Obviously I won't have time to knit it before cold weather arrives but the good news is that there is also a winter version with long sleeves.

Cosas que me gustan / Things I like # 44 Effortless Crochet Zpagetti Bags

Últimamente estoy pensando mucho en cómo dar uso a los ovillos que tengo en mi stash  y el trapillo no es una excepción.

Normalmente me cuesta encontrar proyectos de trapillo que me entusiasmen pero hace poco he descubierto los preciosos bolsitos que hace Effortless Crochet  y de repente me han dado muchas ganas de utilizar algunas de las bobinas que tengo en casa.

Ahora la única duda que se me plantea es si tendré suficiente trapillo para conseguir una combinación de colores tan bonita y original.

Lately I've been thinking a lot about how to use the skeins I have on my stash and zpagetti it's not an exception.

I usually find it difficult to find thrilling zpagetti projects but recently I have discovered the pretty little bags made by  Effortless Crochet  and suddenly I feel so motivated to use some of the bobbins I have at home.

Now my only doubt is whether I will have enough zpagetti to get such a beautiful and original combination of colours.

Cosas que me gustan / Things I like # 43 - Daffodil Tee

Aunque tenga mi cesta de labores hasta arriba, nunca me canso de buscar ideas nuevas que guardo para cuando tenga un hueco libre.

Este verano no he tenido tiempo de investigar mucho pero, si tuviera que elegir, el patrón  "Daffodil Tee"  de  Betta Knit  sería mi favorito por su original diseño con volantes en las mangas.

De momento no entra en mis planes porque hace poco que he empezado un proyecto de verano que me va a llevar tiempo terminar, pero nunca se sabe...


Even if my crafts basket is packed full, I can't get enough of looking for new ideas that I keep for the moment I have some spare time.

This summer I didn't have time to make a deep research but, if I had to choose, "Daffodil Tee"  by  Betta Knit would be my favorite pattern due to its original design with ruffles on the sleeves.

At the moment it is not on my plans because I have just started  a summer project that will take me some time to finish, but you never know...

Cosas que me gustan / Things I like # 42 - Beachy Mixed Stitch Cardi

Hace tiempo que no comparto algo de Knit Collage  aunque sus diseños siguen siendo uno de mis estilos favoritos en lo que a prendas de punto se refiere.

Hasta ahora sólo os había hablado de sus gorros y bufandas pero en esta ocasión el diseño que me tiene enamorada es una chaqueta de punto de estilo boho  que con su mezcla de lanas y tipos de punto es perfecta para el tiempo de primavera.

El patrón forma parte de una serie de modelos propuestos para un KAL de primavera de entre los que se seleccionarán (sólo) tres diseños. 

Como podréis imaginar yo tengo claro cuál es mi favorito...

I haven't shared anything from  Knit Collage for a long time although their designs still are one of my favorite styles as far as knitted garments are concerned.

Until now I have only talked about their hats and scarves but this time the design I have fallen in love with is a boho style knitted cardigan that with its mixed yarns and stitches is perfect for springtime.

The pattern is part of a series of styles proposed for a Spring KAL among which (only) three designs will be selected.

As you can imagine, I am clear about which one my favorite is...

Cosas que me gustan / Things I like # 41 - Sunday Sweater

Uno de mis propósitos para este año es tejer el jersey "Sunday Sweater"  de PetiteKnit  y, aunque todavía tengo que terminar algunos proyectos, estoy deseando que llegue ese momento.

Creo que es un jersey muy sencillo y, al mismo tiempo, una prenda muy especial y cada vez que lo veo en Instagram  me dan muchísimas ganas de tejerlo.

Me encanta la forma del cuello y el detalle de las mangas abullonadas y, por ahora, la única duda que tengo es que no me decido en qué color hacerlo...

¿Alguna sugerencia?

One of my resolutions for this year is to knit  "Sunday Sweater" by  PetiteKnit and, although I still have to finish some projects, I am looking forward for that moment to arrive.

I think it is a very simple sweater and, at the same time, a very special garment and everytime I see it on  Instagram I am dying to knit it.

I love the design of the neck and the puffed sleeves and, at the moment, the only doubt I have is that I can't decide in which colour to make it...

Any suggestions?

Cosas que me gustan / Things I like # 40 - "Keep in Touch" mittens

A finales de agosto descubrí el patrón de las manoplas "Keep in Touch"  de DROPS Design  y me pareció un proyecto perfecto para hacer en invierno y este es un buen momento para recuperar la idea.

Nunca he tejido unas manoplas pero creo que este patrón podría ser un buen comienzo porque parece fácil y rápido de hacer y me va a ayudar a reducir mi "stash".

¿No os parece que dejar un agujero para sacar los dedos es muy ingenioso?

At the end of August I discovered  "Keep in Touch" mittens pattern by DROPS Design and I thought it was a perfect project to make in Winter and this is a good moment to get back to this idea.

I have never knitted mittens before but I think that this pattern could be a good start as it seems easy and quick to make and it will help me reducing my stash.

Don't you find that leaving a hole to pull out the fingers is very clever?

Cosas que me gustan / Things I like # 39 - Macaron bag

Durante mi visita a "La Lainerie"  en Burdeos estuve un rato charlando con una dependienta y la propietaria de la tienda y hablando de labores e Instagram  mencionaron el "Macaron Bag", un bolso de ganchillo que, al parecer, es muy conocido en el mundo virtual pero que yo no había visto nunca.

Como os podréis imaginar este famoso bolso despertó mi curiosidad y, como no podía ser de otra manera, ya está incluido en mi lista de proyectos por hacer.

Sin embargo, en este caso la cosa está un poco complicada porque sólo he conseguido averiguar que el bolso "Macaron Bag"  es un diseño de Knitree  y el patrón original está en coreano aunque no he conseguido dar con ningún enlace donde poder comprarlo.

Con tanto misterio, ¿no os dan todavía más ganas de ganchillearlo?


During my visit to  "La Lainerie" in Bordeaux I spent some time chatting with a shop assistant and the shop owner and talking about crafts and  Instagram they mentioned the "Macaron Bag", a crochet bag that, apparently, is very popular in the virtual world but that I had never seen.

As you can imagine this famous bag sparked my curiosity and, as it couldn't be any other way, it is already included in my to-do project list.

However, in this case it is a little bit complicated as I only could find out that the  "Macaron Bag" is a design by  Knitree and the original pattern is in Korean although I couldn't find any link where to buy it from.

With al this mystery, don't you want to crochet it even more?

Cosas que me gustan # 38 - Crochet bag by eccomin

Hace algún tiempo os hablé de eccomin  y su precioso libro que me hizo llegar desde Japón y aunque no os había vuelto a hablar de ella sigo siendo una gran admiradora de su trabajo y la sigo muy de cerca gracias a Instagram.

Su especialidad son los accesorios (sobre todo bolsos y bolsitas) y recientemente ha publicado un bolso de ganchillo que me parece una monada.

Por lo que he podido intuir (el Japonés no es lo mío) hay un kit para hacer el bolso y me da una pena enorme que sólo lo vendan en Japón porque sería un proyecto perfecto para hacer en verano.

Por suerte tengo su libro y sólo he hecho uno de los patrones así que todavía tengo muchas cosas bonitas por hacer.

A while ago I told you about  eccomin and her beautiful book she sent me from Japan and although I hadn't told you again about her I am still a great fan of her work and I follow her closely thanks to  Instagram.

Her speciality are accesories (specially handbags and little bags) and recently she has published a crochet bag that I find really cute.

As far as I have perceived (Japanese language is not my thing) there's a kit to make the bag and I feel really sorry that they only sell it in Japan because it would be a perfect project to make during the summer.

Luckily I have her book and I have only made one of the patterns so I still have a lot of pretty things to make.

Cosas que me gustan / Things I like # 37 - Rainbow Magicowl

Los cuellos de lana son uno de mis proyectos favoritos para tejer en invierno y hace poco he descubierto un patrón en Ravelry  que me tiene intrigadísima... 

Se trata del Rainbow Magicowl  de Elizabeth Brassard  un cuello de lana que, tal y como su nombre indica, lleva los colores del arco iris y además es mágico porque puede llevarse de dos formas diferentes, con los colores en posición vertical y horizontal.

La verdad es que me despierta mucha curiosidad y me parece el proyecto perfecto para reducir stash así que va directo a mi lista de cosas por hacer.

Wool cowls are one of my favorite projects to knit in winter and recently I have discovered a pattern in  Ravelry that keeps me very intrigued...

It is the  Rainbow Magicowl by  Elizabeth Brassard a wool cowl that, just as its name shows, has the colours of the rainbow and on top it is magical because it can be worn in two different ways, with the colours in vertical and horizontal position.

The truth is that it makes me very curious and I find it the perfect project to reduce stash so it goes directly to my to-do list.

Cosas que me gustan / Things I like # 36 - Big Hero Wool

Como buena tejedora tengo debilidad por los ovillos bonitos y entre mis favoritos están los de lana gordita en colores vivos como estas madejas gigantes en lana merino de BettaKnit.

Se me ocurren muchas cosas que hacer con ellas pero sin dudarlo mi primera opción sería una manta XXL como las que os enseñé aquí.

¿Os imagináis qué maravilla?

As good knitter I have a weakness for pretty balls and chunky wool in bright colours are among my favorites just as these giant merino wool skeins by  BettaKnit.

I can think of many things to do with them but for sure my first choice would be a XXL blanket as the ones I showed you here.

Can you imagine how wonderful it would be?

Cosas que me gustan / Things I like # 35 - Flower Power Scarf

Llega el otoño y no paro de ver cosas que me gustan y que me encantaría hacer, como esta original bufanda con forma de flor diseñada por Gaia Segattini  para BettaKnit.

Me parece el complemento perfecto para que los días de frío no sean tan grises, más que una bufanda es casi un collar hecho con una lana maravillosa. 

Simplemente... ¡me encanta! ♥

Autumn is here and I can't stop seeing things that I like and that I would love to make, like this original flower scarf designed by  Gaia Segattini for  BettaKnit.

I find it the perfect accesory to make cold days less grey, more than a scarf  is almost a necklace made with a wonderful wool.

I simply... love it! ♥

Cosas que me gustan / Things I like # 34 - IKEA SKÅDIS Pegboard

El año pasado en septiembre escribí una entrada sobre cuánto me gustaban los paneles de herramientas para decorar la casa y en IKEA parece que han escuchado mis deseos y han creado el sistema de tableros SKÅDIS como solución para tener nuestras cosas ordenadas y al alcance de la mano.

Todavía no están disponibles en España pero por lo que he podido ver en las páginas de otros países hay varios tamaños de tableros que pueden combinarse entre sí y distintos sistemas de sujeción así que es posible personalizar el tablero según nuestras necesidades. 

No os imagináis las ganas que tengo de que llegue el nuevo catálogo de IKEA.

In Septebmer last year I wrote a post about how much I liked pegboards for home decoration and it seems that someone at IKEA has listened my wishes and they have created the SKÅDIS pegboard system as a solution to keep our things both well organised and near at hand.

They are still not available in Spain but from what I've seen in websites from other countries there are several sizes of pegboards which can be combined as well as different fixing systems so it is possible to customise the pegboard according  to our needs.

You can't imagine how eager I am to receive the new IKEA catalogue.

Cosas que me gustan / Things I like # 33 - M Missoni Raffia Bag

En 2014 M Missoni  lanzó una colección de bolsos de rafia multicolores que se convirtieron en un accesorio imprescindible de la temporada primavera- verano.

Yo no los he descubierto hasta este año gracias a unas fotos en Roma de Alice Agnelli  del blog "A gipsy in the kitchen" del que ya os hablé aquí.

Desde entonces he buscado un bolso de esta colección como una loca, pero como es de imaginar ya están agotados así que, a falta del original, no descarto realizar mi propia versión handmade (de hecho ya he encontrado varias páginas con las instrucciones para hacerlo).

¿No os parece el bolso perfecto para dar color al verano?


In 2014  M Missoni launched a collection of multi coloured raffia bags which became a must have for the Spring-Summer season.

I haven't discovered them until this year thanks to some pictures in Rome of  Alice Agnelli from "A gipsy in the kitchen" blog which I already told you about here.

Since then I've been looking for a bag from this collection like crazy, but of course they are sold out so, lacking the original, I don't dismiss making my own handmade version (in fact I have already found some websites with the instructions to make it).

Don't you think it is the perfect bag to add some colour to Summer?

Cosas que me gustan / Things I like # 32 - Penguin Knit Cover

Los libros son una de las cosas que más me gustan y una de mis editoriales favoritas es Penguin porque me recuerda a mis primeras lecturas en inglés y porque es todo un símbolo de la cultura "British" así que esta original funda de punto inspirada en los clásicos libros naranjas de Penguin Books me parece simplemente maravillosa.

La creadora es Cally Barker una artista británica que sabe combinar a la perfección su pasión por los libros y las artes textiles.

¿No os parece una idea genial?


Books are one of the things I like the most and Penguin is one of my favorite publishers because it reminds me of my first English readings and because it is a great icon of British culture so I think that this original knit cover inspired by the classical orange Penguin Books is simply wonderful.

The maker is Cally Barker a British artist who knows how to perfectly mix her passion for books and textile arts.

Don't you think it is a great idea?
