Thornett

Después de más de un año y unos cuantos ovillos de DROPS Loves You 7,  por fin puedo decir que he terminado mi jersey Thornett  aunque el resultado no es exactamente el que yo esperaba...

Cuando escogí la talla del patrón, como no quería que me quedara muy ajustado, decidí hacer una talla más que mi talla real pero... o tomé mal las medidas o al bloquearlo el jersey ha crecido, la cuestión es que me queda demasiado grande.

Sin embargo, tras probármelo he comprobado que es perfecto como vestido de playa, así que no hay mal que por bien no venga y el verano que viene me va a venir de maravilla porque es algo diferente a todo lo que tengo.

La verdad es que me da un poco de pena no haber acertado con la talla porque el patrón me encanta pero bueno... supongo que con esto aprenderé a medir mejor la próxima vez.

More than one year and several  DROPS Loves You 7 balls after, I can finally say that I've finished my  Thornett top although the result is not exactly what I expected...

When I chose the pattern size, as I didn't want it to be very tight fitting, I decided to make one size bigger than my true size but... either I took the wrong measures either the top got bigger after the blocking, the point is that it is too big for me.

However, after trying it on I've seen that it is perfect as a beach dress, so every cloud has a silver lining and next summer it will suit me perfectly as it is something different to the things I already have.

Honestly, I am little bit sad I didn't get the right size because I love the pattern but whatever... I guess that after this I will learn to measure better the next time.
