Happy (Spring) Weekend

Desde que recibí el último número de Pom Pom Quarterly he estado soñando con la llegada de la primavera para cambiar la lana por algodón y empezar a tejer ideas nuevas.

Este número me ha gustado tanto que haría todos los proyectos que incluye aunque de momento me conformo con tener tiempo para terminar los dos diseños que más me gustan.

Uno de los colores que he escogido para uno de estos proyectos de primavera es el color mostaza que últimamente es casi una obsesión para mí, todo me parece más bonito en amarillo.

Todavía no he empezado a tejer y ya estoy deseando tenerlo todo terminado...

Since I received the last issue of Pom Pom Quarterly I've been daydreaming with the arrival of springtime to exchange wool for cotton and to start knitting new ideas.

I like this issue so much that I would make all the projects it contains although by the moment I'll be happy if I have time to finish the two designs I like the most.

One of the colours I have chosen for one of these spring projects is mustard colour which lately is almost an obsession for me, everything seems more beautiful in yellow.

I haven't started knitting yet and I am already looking forward to having everything finished...

Una de las cosas que envidio mucho de otros países es la celebración de Pascua, me encanta la idea de decorar la casa con conejitos y huevos teñidos con colores alegres.

En España esta celebración no es muy habitual pero últimamente se empieza a ver un poco más así que, por si alguien está buscando ideas, he hecho una selección de cinco proyectos chulos para hacer en Pascua.

One of the things I envy a lot from other countries is Easter celebration, I love the idea of decorating the hows with little bunnies and brightly coloured eggs.

In Spain this celebration is not very common but lately it is becoming more popular so, in case anyone is looking for some ideas, I've made a selections of five cool projects to make at Easter.

Illume (otra vez) / Illume (again)

Hace más o menos un mes os enseñaba mi gorro Illume tejido con una lana multicolor y hoy repito idea pero con una lana de un único tono.

Aunque el patrón es el mismo en este modelo se aprecian mejor las trenzas del diseño, la verdad no sabría decir cuál de los dos me gusta más.

Tejer gorros me encanta y son el plan perfecto para las tardes de invierno pero no voy a negar que estoy deseando que llegue la primavera para empezar a tejer otro tipo de proyectos.

Seguro que no soy la única...

One month or so ago I showed you my Illume hat knitted with a multicoloured wool and today I repeat the idea but with just one colour yarn.

Although the pattern is the same in this model cable knits can be better seen, I couldn't really say which one I like the most.

I love knitting hats and they are the perfect plan for winter afternoons but I won't deny that I am looking forward to springtime so I can start other types of projects.

I am sure I am not the only one...
