Adiós, Agosto / Bye bye, August

Siempre tengo la impresión de que los meses de verano pasan más rápido y este año me ha vuelto a pasar, el mes agosto ha volado y casi ni me he enterado.

Así que... entre una cosa y otra este mes sólo he tenido tiempo de enseñaros este conjunto de bebé de ganchillo y uno de los últimos proyectos que he empezado.

Ahora toca empezar con fuerza el mes de septiembre que tampoco está tan mal, ¡no hay motivo para estar triste!

I always feel like summer months pass quicker and this year it has happenned again, the month of August has flown by and I haven't even realised.

So... what with one thing and another I have only had time to show you this crochet baby outfit and one of the last projects I have started.

Now it is time to start freshly the month of September which is not that bad either, there's no reason to be sad!

Estos días está haciendo muchísimo calor pero no se me quitan las ganas de tejer y en mis agujas siempre hay algún proyecto en curso.

Casi todo lo que estoy tejiendo son cosas para  bebé (parece que ha habido un pequeño baby boom a mi alrededor) así que estoy encantada porque ya sabéis que es una de las cosas que más me gusta hacer.

En cuanto pueda os enseño el resultado...

These days the weather is really hot but it doesn't discourage me to continue knitting and on my needles there's always an ongoing project.

Nearly all the things I am knitting are for babies (it seems there's been a little baby boom around me) so I am very happy because you know it is one of the things I like to make the most.

As soon as I can I will show you the result...

Conjunto de verano de bebé / Summer baby outfit

Después de un breve descanso en el blog vuelvo con uno de mis proyectos favoritos, un conjunto de bebé formado por una camiseta de ganchillo y las ya famosas zapatillas Converse en versión mini (este es mi tercer par después de hacerlas en beige y en morado).

La camiseta es un patrón gratuito de Annemarie Haakblog que descubrí en Ravelry y me gustó tanto que me lo guardé en mis favoritos para utilizarlo en cuanto surgiera la ocasión. 

Creo que es la primera vez que hago ropa de bebé en ganchillo (normalmente utilizo patrones de punto) y la verdad es que estoy muy contenta con el resultado. Además, me parece que combina a la perfección con las zapatillas que también son de ganchillo.

¿No os parece un conjunto de verano perfecto para los más pequeños?

After a short break in the blog I am coming back with one of my favorite projects, a baby outfit composed by a crochet shirt and the already famous mini Converse sneakers (this is my third pair after making them in beige and in purple).

The shirt is a free pattern by Annemarie Haakblog which I discovered via Ravelry and which I liked a lot so I saved it in my favorites to use it as soon as I had the opportunity.

I think this is the first time I make baby clothes in crochet (I usually use knitting patterns) and the truth is that I am very happy with the result. In addition, I think it matches perfectly with the sneakers which are also made in crochet.

Don't you find it is the perfect summer outfit for the little ones?

Adiós, Julio / Bye bye, July

El mes pasado os contaba que junio se me había pasado volando pero es que julio... ¡casi ni lo he visto!

En las últimas semanas he estado ocupada con varias cosas pero sólo he podido enseñaros el regalo de bienvenida que hice para el pequeño Noah y el último proyecto que he empezado y que todavía siguen mis agujas...

Aparte de eso sólo he añadido una original funda de libros a la larga lista de cosas que me gustan.

Espero que el mes de agosto no se me pase tan rápido y me cunda un poquito más...

Last month I told you that June had flown for me but July... I haven't almost seen it!

During the last weeks I've been busy with several things but I've only been able to show you the welcome gift I made for little Noah and the last project I have started and which is still on my needles...

Apart from that I have only added an original book cover to the long list of the things I like.

I hope that the month of august won't pass so quickly and that I can make the most of it...
