La semana pasada he estado de vacaciones en Cádiz un lugar que tenía muchísimas ganas de conocer y donde he podido disfrutar de lo que más me gusta del verano, el sol y el mar.
Como me encanta el ambiente surfero y hippie-chic decidí escoger un hotel en el centro de Tarifa (la capital del viento en Europa y de deportes como el surf, windsurf y kitesurf) y no me equivoqué. No os imagináis lo feliz que he sido paseando por sus calles y descubriendo tiendas monísimas y bares y restaurantes con muy buen ambiente. De verdad, me hubiera quedado allí a vivir...
También hemos aprovechado para hacer turismo por la capital y algunos pueblos (Véjer, Arcos de la Frontera, Jerez, la sierra de Grazalema...) y disfrutar de las maravillosas playas de El Palmar, Bolonia, Valdevaqueros, Caños de Meca, Zahara de los Atunes...
Incluso hemos hecho dos pequeñas escapadas a Ronda en Málaga y Gibraltar (más de moda que nunca desde que se aprobó el Brexit).
En fin, un destino ideal para disfrutar del verano, no me extraña que lo llamen Cadifornia.
Last week I've been on holidays in Cadiz (Spain) a place I was looking forward to visiting a lot and where I've enjoyed what I like the most about summer, the sun and the sea.
As I love surfer and hippie-chic atmosphere I decided to choose a hotel in the centre of Tarifa (the wind capital in Europe and of sports such as surf, windsurf and kitesurf) and I wasn't wrong. You can't imagine how happy I've been walking its streets and discovering super cute shops and very cool bars and restaurants. Really, I would have stayed there forever...
We have also made some tourism in the main city and in some small villages (Véjer, Arcos de la Frontera, Jerez, Grazalema mountains...) and enjoyed wonderful beaches such as El Palmar, Bolonia, Valdevaqueros, Caños de Meca, Zahara de los Atunes...
We have even made two small getaways to Ronda in Malaga and Gibraltar (more trending than ever since the Brexit was approved).
In brief, a perfect destination to enjoy the summer, it doesn't surprise me it is called Cadifornia.
