Big Wool Hat

A principios de este año escribí una entrada sobre cinco gorros para tejer en invierno y os hablaba de uno que había tejido, otro que estaba en proceso y un tercero que iba a ser mi siguiente proyecto.

Bien, pues el que me quedaba por tejer era el "Big Loop Knitted Hat " de Lebenslustiger  que me encanta por lo gordito que es.

Mi idea inicial era seguir el tutorial paso a paso pero la lana que yo tenía no era tan gruesa así que al final tuve que improvisar y hacer mi propio patrón. Por eso, aunque la idea del gorro gordito es la misma, el resultado es ligeramente diferente. 

A pesar de todo estoy muy contenta con el resultado y una de las cosas que más me gusta de mi Big Wool Hat es que la punta es casi cuadrada y cuando lo llevo se forman dos especies de "orejitas" muy graciosas.

De hecho, me gusta tanto que ya tengo pensado hacerlo en más colores...

At the beginning of this year I wrote a post about five hats to knit in winter and I told you I had already knitted one, another one was in process and a third one was going to be my following project.

Well, the one I still had to knit was the " Big Loop Knitted Hat"  by  Lebenslustiger which I love because it is very bulky.

My original idea was to follow the tutorial step by step but the wool I had was not so chunky so at last I had to rustle up and made my own pattern. So, even if the idea of the bulky hat is the same, the result is a little bit different.

Despite everything I am very happy with the result and one of the things I like the most about my  Big Wool Hat is that the end is almost squared so when I wear it two kind of really cute little "ears" appear.

In fact, I like it that much that I have already in mind to make it in more colours...
