Mis DIY favoritos / My favorite DIYs #27 - Watercolour Notebooks

Cuando iba al colegio me encantaba estrenar cuadernos y aunque ahora me limito a cambiar de agenda cada año sigo teniendo debilidad por los artículos de papelería así que aprovechando que es época de empezar las clases me apetece compartir un DIY de Fellow Felllow  para personalizar cuadernos con acuarelas.

Me parece una idea genial para conseguir cuadernos bonitos con un toque único y personal.

When I went to school I loved using notebooks for the first time and although the only thing I do now is changing my agenda each year I still have a weakness for stationery so considering it is back to school season I feel like sharing a DIY by  Fellow Fellow to make custom watercolour notebooks.

I think it is  a great idea to have some beautiful notebooks with a unique and personal touch.

Popcorn Suit

Hace unos meses os hablaba de Paelas  y sus preciosos patrones de ropa para bebé y este verano por fin he tejido uno de sus diseños.

Casi se puede decir que ya tenía el patrón escogido y sólo me faltaba la ocasión para tejerlo y es que el modelo Popcorn Suit  siempre ha sido uno de mis diseños favoritos porque me chiflan las prendas de punto con bolitas.

Para tejerlo utilicé algodón DROPS Safran  en tono melocotón, un color súper bonito que me encanta para utilizarlo en ropa de bebé y salir un poco de los colores de siempre.

A couple of months ago I told you about  Paelas and their beautiful baby clothes patterns and this summer I finally knitted one of their designs.

I could almost say that I had already chosen the pattern and I was just waiting for the occasion to knit it as  Popcorn Suit model has always been one of my favorite designs because I go mad for knit garments with bobbles.

I knitted it using  DROPS Safran cotton in peach tone, a really beautiful colour that I love for baby clothes so I don't end up using always the same colours.

How do you find it? 

Happy (Crafting) Weekend

Antes de que llegue el frío y sólo quiera tejer prendas de lana, sigo con mis proyectos de trapillo aunque esta vez estoy pensando en algo pequeñito y rápido de terminar.

Hasta ahora sólo lo he utilizado para hacer cosas de ganchillo pero me apetece cambiar y tejer con dos agujas porque el trapillo también queda muy bonito tejido en punto bobo.

Before cold weather arrives and I would only want to knit wool garments, I continue with my zpagetti projects although this time I am thinking of something little and quick to finish.

Until the moment I have only used it for crocheting but I would like to change and use knitting needles as zpagetti also looks very nice in garter stitch.

Inspiración: Aguja Mágica / Inspiration: Punch Needle

En mi "vuelta al cole" particular siempre dedico tiempo a recordar e intentar retomar cosas que he ido dejado pendientes a lo largo del año (o incluso de varios años).

Una de estas ideas de mi limbo de proyectos sin hacer es el bordado con aguja mágica incluso después de estar totalmente equipada con el kit  completo, hilos de todos los colores y el maravilloso libro de Laura Ameba.

La verdad es que me apetece un montón aprender esta técnica así que he recopilado unas cuantas ideas para ver si así me ánimo a cambiar un poco de labor.

¿No os parece que el bordado con aguja mágica tiene que ser súper entretenido?


In my very own "back to school" I always take some time to remind and try to take up the things I have left pending along the year (or even several years).

One of these ideas from my unfinished projects limbo is punch needle embroidery even after being totally equipped with the whole kit, thread in every colour and  Laura Ameba's wonderful book.

Honestly I would like so much to learn this technique so I have gathered some ideas to see whether this way I feel more likely to change my type of craft.

Don't you think that punch needle embroidery has to be really entertaining?
