DIY - Last Winter Cowl

Como despedida a los fríos días de invierno (que espero den paso a la primavera cuanto antes) he tejido mi último cuello del invierno, añadiendo así uno más a mi pequeña colección.

Para hacerlo no he seguido ningún patrón en concreto sino que he ido improvisando según lo hacía ,así que esta entrada me viene muy bien para inaugurar una nueva sección con patrones hechos por mí que hace tiempo que quería incluir en el blog.

As a farewell to cold winter days (which I hope will give way to springtime as soon as possible) I've knitted my last winter cowl, increasing this way my small collection.

I didn't follow any specific pattern but I improvised while I made it, so this post is the perfect opportunity to begin a new section with patterns designed by me which I've been wanting to include in the blog for a longtime.

INSTRUCCIONES

Lana: DROPS Eskimo de Garnstudio (o cualquier lana de características similares) - 150 gr.

Agujas: Agujas circulares de 12mm

Puntos utilizados: Punto bobo y punto del revés

Pasos:

• Montar 120 puntos y unir los puntos para tejer en circular (si preferis que el cuello no es quede muy amplio montad sólo 100 puntos)
• Tejer 3 vueltas en punto bobo
• Tejer del revés todas las vueltas hasta que la labor mida 18 cm desde el comienzo
• Tejer 3 vueltas en punto bobo
• Cerrar todos los puntos

INSTRUCTIONS

Yarn: DROPS Eskimo de Garnstudio (or any other yarn with similar characteristics) - 150 gr.

Needles: 12mm / 17 US circular needles

Sitches used: Garter stitch and purl stitch

Steps:

• Cast on 120 stitches and join the stitches to start knitting in the round (if you prefer a less wider cowl you can cast on only 100 stitches)
• Knit 3 rounds in garter stitch
• Purl all the rounds until your work measures 18 cm / 7 inches from the beginning
• Knit 3 rounds in garter stitch
• Cast off all the stitches
