Gorro de mohair / Mohair hat

El año pasado por estas fechas compartía el patrón para tejer el "One Cable Cowl"  pero este año parece que se ha adelantado la primavera y se me hace raro enseñaros uno de mis últimos proyectos de invierno que, dado el buen tiempo de las últimas semanas, todavía no he llegado a estrenar.

En realidad es un proyecto que no estaba en mis planes pero fue ver esta foto en la cuenta de Instagram  de Mlle. Sophie  y acordarme al momento de los ovillos de mohair  con brillo de "Silkhair Lusso"  de Lanagrossa  que compré el verano pasado en "La Lainerie"  en Burdeos.

Mi idea original era haberlos utilizado como color de contraste en algún chal pero la verdad es que el color del mohair  es tan bonito que en un gorro de lana queda de maravilla, además de ser increíblemente suave y calentito.

Creo que a estas alturas no me lo voy a poner hasta dentro de mucho tiempo pero seguro que el invierno que viene se convierte en uno de mis gorros favoritos.

Last year at this time I shared the pattern to knit the  "One Cable Cowl" but it seems like spring has come earlier this year and it feels weird to me to show you one of my latest winter projects which, given the good weather of the last weeks, I haven't used yet.

Actually it is a project that was not on my plans but as I saw this picture on  Mlle. Sophie's  Instagram account I inmediately remembered the lucent mohair skeins from  "Silkhair Lusso" by  Lanagrossa that I bought last summer at  "La Lainerie" in Bordeaux.

My original idea was to use them as contrast colour on a shawl but to be honest the colour of the mohair is so pretty that it looks great on a wool hat, in addition to being incredibly soft and warm.

At this point I think I won't wear it for a long time but  for sure next winter it will become one of my favorite hats.

Snoody

Por fin puedo enseñaros el proyecto de Mlle. Sophie  que empecé tejer a principios de enero con los ovillos que compré en Knit Knit Berlin.

Como ya os conté entonces, sigo a Mlle. Sophie desde hace mucho porque me encantan sus diseños, sencillos pero estilosos a la vez, así que no he podido resistirme a tejer otro de sus patrones.

En esta ocasión he escogido  el cuello Snoody  que en mi opinión es una mezcla entre el famoso Trendy Chale y el maravilloso cuello L'Audacieuse  que son otros dos patrones suyos que he tenido el gusto de hacer.

Además de tejerse muy rápido no requiere mucha cantidad de lana así que todavía me quedan dos ovillos de Lanagrossa Lala Berlin  que de momento se van a quedar en mi stash hasta que encuentre alguna idea para tejer con ellos.

P.D: Este no es el último patrón de Mlle. Sophie  que he hecho...

I can finally show you the project from  Mlle. Sophie I started knitting at the beginning of January with the yarn I bought at  Knit Knit Berlin.

As I already told you then, I've been folllowing  Mlle. Sophie for a long time since I love her designs, simple but stylish at the same time, so I couldn't resist knitting another one of her patterns.

In this case I chose Snoody cowl which in my opinion is a mix between the famous Trendy Chale and the wonderful  L'Audacieuse cowl which are another two of her patterns that I have gladly made.

In addition to being knitted very quickly it doesn't require a great quantity of wool so I still have two skeins of  Lanagrossa Lala Berlin which at the moment will stay in my stash until I find any idea to knit with them.

Inspiración / Inspiration: Mooi van draad

Siempre me ha gustado mucho la idea de bordar con lana en prendas de punto y buscando inspiración en Pinterest descubrí "Mooi van Draad"  el blog de Nienke Landman donde muestra sus creaciones y patrones de ganchillo y bordado.

Entre sus proyectos hay un poco de todo pero el elemento común de todos ellos es que siempre utiliza colores muy alegres y eso es algo que me encanta.

Mi proyecto favorito son los calcetines con flores bordadas aunque, como tejer calcetines no es lo mío, creo que en mi caso utilizaría la idea en una bufanda o en un gorro de lana.

I've always liked the idea of using wool to embroider knit garments and looking for some inspiration on  Pinterest I came accross with Nienke Landman's "Mooi van Draad"  blog  where she shows her crochet and embroidery works and patterns.

Among her projects there is a little bit of everything but the common element of them all is that she always uses very bright colours and that is something that I love.

My favorite project are the socks embroidered with flowers although, as knitting socks is not my thing, I think that in my case I would use the idea on a wool scarf or hat.
