The Crafter's Home # 5 - IDA Interior Lifestyle

El blog de Ilaria IDA Interior Lifestyle fue uno de los primeros que  empecé a seguir y enseguida me enganchó con sus coloridas creaciones de ganchillo e ideas de decoración.

Aunque es de nacionalidad italiana, Ilaria vive desde hace años en Eindoven (Holanda) con su marido y sus dos hijos en la que ella llama cariñosamente la "Happy House " y, en mi opinión, el adjetivo no podría ser más acertado.

Se nota que es una experta en decoración con muy buen gusto y su hogar es una auténtica "casa Pinterest" donde se mezclan sus labores de ganchillo y DIY, objetos vintage y muebles de estilo nórdico.

De verdad que no se me ocurre mejor forma de empezar la semana que descubriendo la "Happy House ".

One of the first blogs I started following was Ilaria's IDA Interior Lifestyle and I quickly became addicted by her colourful crochet works and decoration ideas.

Although she is Italian, Ilaria lives in Eindoven (Netherlands) with her husband and their two children since many years ago in what she lovingly calls the "Happy House" and, in my opinion, the adjective couldn't be more correct.

It's obvious that she is a decoration expert with very good taste and her home  is a real  "Pinterest house" with a mix of her crochet and DIY creations, vintage objects and nordic style furniture.

Honestly I cannot think of a better way to start the week than discovering the "Happy House".

The Crafter's Home # 4 - Cinq Mai

Detrás de "Cinq Mai" encontramos a Caroline Briel, una fotógrafa y diseñadora que realiza postales y artículos de papelería que son una maravilla. También es la autora de las fotografías que aparecen en el famoso libro de amigurumi "Tendre Crochet" de Tournicote.

Su casa está en Francia en la región Auvernia-Ródano-Alpes y se caracteriza por una mezcla de estilos entre rústico y bohemio donde predominan los tonos pastel, resultando en una decoración muy armoniosa y acogedora. Resulta obvio que en ella vive una persona muy creativa con un gusto muy delicado por las cosas bonitas.

Personalmente es un estilo que me gusta mucho y me encantaría recorrer toda la casa pero, sin duda alguna, mi estancia favorita es el estudio donde pueden verse los materiales y las creaciones de Caroline en perfecto orden.

Behind "Cinq Mai" we can find Caroline Briel, a photographer and designer who makes wonderful postcards and stationery items. She is also the author of the photographies that appear in the famous amigurumi book "Tendre Crochet" by  Tournicote.

Her house is in France in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and it is characterised by a mix between rustic and bohemian styles where pastel colours predominate, resulting in a very balanced and cosy decoration. It seems clear that a very creative person with a very delicate taste for beautiful things lives in it.

It is an style that I personally like a lot and I would love to go all over the house but, whithout any doubt, my favorite room is the studio where you can see Caroline's materials and creations in perfect order.

The Crafter's Home # 3 - Pfefferminzgruen

Mi última propuesta de casa bonita para "The Crafter's Home"  es la preciosa casa en Siegburg (Alemania) de Christin Pardun creadora del blog de DIY "pfefferminzgruen".

Aparentemente es una casa típica del norte de Europa, con ventanas grandes y decoración sencilla pero en su caso destaca la combinación de colores neutros con algunos toques alegres de color que casi siempre son creaciones hechas por ella misma con todo tipo de materiales: papel de colores, lana,  figuritas, hama beads...

Además algo que me gusta mucho y que la hace especial es que según la época del año cambia el tipo de decoración introduciendo elementos propios de cada estación o de la festividad que corresponda.

¿No os parece una maravilla?

My latest proposal of a beautiful house for the  "The Crafter's Home"  is the home in Siegburg (Germany) of  Christin Pardun from  "pfefferminzgruen" DIY blog. 

Apparently it is a typical home from the north of Europe, with great windows and simple decoration but in her case what stands out is the combination of neutral colours with some cheerful colour touches which most of the times are made by her with all type of materials: coloured papers, wool, miniatures, hama beads...

In addition something I like a lot and that makes it special is that according to the time of the year she changes the type of decoration introducing elements which correspond to each season or festivity.

The Crafter's Home # 2 - Sofia Parapluie

Tras unas semanas de descanso vuelvo con una nueva propuesta de The Crafter's Home  con la casa de Sofia Parapluie, una joven mamá portuguesa afincada en Valencia.

La decoración de su casa se caracteriza principalmente por el estilo nórdico pero también por el toque personal que aporta a cada rincón con creaciones de punto y ganchillo hechas por ella misma.

Mi estancia favorita es la habitación de su hija Luisa que está decorada con todo el mimo del mundo y donde va alternando elementos decorativos hechos a mano.

Una de las cosas que más me gusta del estilo de Sofia es el uso que hace de los colores pastel, sabe encontrar el equilibrio perfecto entre los distintos tonos para crear una ambiente acogedor y relajante.

After a two weeks break I am back with a new proposal of  The Crafter's Home with the house of  Sofia Parapluie, a young Portuguese mom living in Valencia (Spain).

The decoration of her house is mainly characterised by Nordic style but also by the personal touch she adds to every corner with her own knit and crochet creations.

My favorite space is her daughter's Luisa's room which is carefully decorated and where she alternates handmade decorative elements.

One of the things I like the most from Sofia's style is how she uses pastel colours, she knows how to find the perfect balance among the different tones to create a cozy and relaxing ambience.

The Crafter's Home # 1 - Cafenohut

Hay un libro que se llama " The Shopkeeper's Home " donde se muestran las casas de propietarios de tiendas de diseño, moda, arte... y yo creo que debería haber uno dedicado a las casas de las personas que hacen manualidades así que he decidido inaugurar la sección  " The Crafter's Home "  donde os enseñaré algunos rincones de las casas de mis artesanos favoritos.

Mi primera propuesta es una de mis creadoras de cosas bonitas favoritas, Ayda de " Cafenohut "  que desde su casa en Estambul nos traslada a un mundo de color maravilloso.

Su gusto por los detalles pequeños hace que su casa sea única y fiel reflejo de su creatividad. En sus fotos es frecuente ver cómo incorpora sus propias creaciones en la decoración, algo que no siempre es fácil de hacer pero que ella consigue con total naturalidad.

Reconozco que una de mis actividades favoritas los domingos es repasar su cuenta de Instagram y siempre consigue cargarme de positividad e inspiración.

There's a book called  " The Shopkeeper's Home " showing the houses of design, fashion, art... shop owners and I think there should be one about the houses of people who make crafts so I've decided to create the section  " The Crafter's Home " where I will show you some parts of my favorite crafter's homes.

My first proposal is one of my favorite pretty things makers, Ayda from " Cafenohut " who from her house in Istanbul takes us to a wonderful world of colours.

Her taste for small details makes her home be unique and a true reflection of her creativity. In her pictures it is common to see how she incorporates her own creations into the decoration, something which is not always easy to make but that she achieves so naturally.

I admit that one of my favorite activities on Sundays is to browse through her  Instagram account and it always fills me up with positive energy and inspiration.
