Inspiración / Inspiration: Sweater Weather

Mientras mi jersey Beatnik sigue en proceso sigo recopilando ideas para tejer cuando llegue el frío.

He hecho una pequeña selección con algunos jerseys que me gustan y que, a pesar de tener un diseño sencillo,  tienen algún detalle que los hace especial.

Sólo os digo que mi lista de favoritos no hace más que crecer...

While my  Beatnik sweater is still in progress I continue to gather ideas to knit when cold weather arrives.

I've made a small selection with some sweaters that I like and that, despite having a simple design, they also have little details that make them special.

I can only say that my list of favorites keeps growing and growing...

Cosas que me gustan / Things I like # 21 Wool and the Gang "Into the Wild"

La semana pasada me llegó un correo de Wool and the Gang  en el que presentaban su nueva colección "Into the Wild" en la que proponen prendas de punto con estampado animal.

Yo nunca he sido muy partidaria de los estampados felinos, pero he de confesar que desde hace dos años en mi armario hay varias prendas "animal print" en versión moderna. 

Por eso cuando vi las propuestas de Wool and the Gang  me encantaron, sobre todo porque son prendas muy fáciles de llevar y el estampado animal les da un toque muy divertido.

¿Qué os parece?

Last week I received an email from Wool and the Gang  presenting their new collection called  "Into the Wild" which is focused on animal print knitwear.

I have never been very keen on feline prints, but I must confess that since two years ago there are several modern animal print clothes on my wardrobe.

So when I saw what  Wool and the Gang propose I loved it, specially because they are easy to wear clothes and the animal print gives a very funny touch.

Sandshore Cardigan

Hoy doy la bienvenida al otoño con mi último proyecto de verano, la chaqueta de punto de la que os hablé aquí.

Como ya os conté, tenía los ovillos de Bomull-Lin de DROPS desde hacía tiempo así que busqué en Ravelry algún proyecto en el que pudiera utilizarlos.

De entre todas las ideas que me gustaban me decidí por el patrón Sandshore de Alicia Plummer, una chaqueta de punto abierta con un diseño muy original en la espalda.

Aunque parezca complicado, es un diseño muy fácil de tejer y se avanza muy rápido. Además, se teje sin costuras por lo que sólo hay que coser las mangas al cuerpo una vez terminadas.

En las fotos no se aprecia muy bien cómo ha quedado, pero yo estoy muy contenta con el resultado, de hecho, me lo he puesto hoy para ir a trabajar.

Today I say hello to Autumn with my last summer project, the knitted cardigan I told you about here.

As I already told you, I had some DROPS Bomull-Lin skeins a long time ago so I browsed through Ravelry looking  for a project to use them.

Among all the ideas I liked I chose Alicia Plummer's Sandshore pattern, a knitted open cardigan with a very original design on the back.

Although it may seem a bit difficult, it is a very easy to knit design and it is really quick to make. In addition, it is knitted flat so you only have to sew the sleeves to the body once they are finished.

In the pictures it is not very clear how it looks, but I am very happy with the result, in fact, I wore it today to work.

Por fin es viernes y ya tengo mi pedido de lana DROPS Karisma para poder empezar a tejer el KAL Beatnik.

Además tengo otros proyectos empezados que estoy a punto de terminar, así que espero sacar tiempo para todo.

It's finally friday and I already have my order of DROPS Karisma yarn to start knitting Beatnik KAL.

I have some other ongoing projects that are almost finished, so I hope to have time for everything.
