En enero fue el cumpleaños de mi sobrina y uno de los regalos que le hice fueron unas botitas super monas de Tocotó Vintage.
Las botas son de un color rosa precioso que me recuerda mucho al algodón de azúcar y al color del cuello Drop Stitch Cowl en versión primavera que tejí para mí el año pasado, así que como todavía me quedaba una madeja del mismo algodón en mi reserva decidí hacerle un mini cuello a juego con sus botitas.
Tras una búsqueda rápida en Ravelry, encontré el patrón Cozy Worm Child's Cowl de Nikki Van de Car (autora del libro "Qué se puede tejer cuando se está esperando" del que os hablé aquí) y me pareció que era perfecto para lo que estaba buscando.
Tejí el cuello en muy poco tiempo (ya os podéis imaginar lo chiquitín que es) y viendo el resultado no puedo parar de pensar en más ideas para hacer mini accesorios para combinar con la ropa de mi sobri.
In January it was my niece's birthday and one of the presents I gave her was a pair of super cute baby booties from Tocotó Vintage.
The booties are in a pretty pink colour that reminds me of cotton candy and the colour of the spring version of the Drop Stitch Cowl I knitted for me last year, so as I stitll had a skein of the same cotton in my stash I decided to make a mini cowl to match her little booties.
After a quick search on Ravelry, I found the pattern Cozy Worm Child's Cowl by Nikki Van de Car (who is also the author of the book "What to knit when you are expecting" which I told you about here) and I found it was perfect for what I was looking for.
I knitted the cowl in very little time (you can imagine how tiny it is) and after seeing the result I can't stop thinking of more ideas to make mini accesories to match with my niece's clothes.
