Uno de los proyectos en los que estoy trabajando ahora es un conjunto de ropa de bebé que me tiene entusiasmada, aunque no puedo dar muchas pistas todavía.

Estoy deseando poder enseñaros el resultado, seguro que os gusta tanto como a mí.


One of the projects I am working on right now is a baby clothing outfit which I am excited about, although I can't give you many hints yet.

I am looking forward to showing you the result, I am sure you will love it as much as I do.

Otro viaje en globo / Another hot air balloon flight

Las últimas semanas he retomado el amigurumi y, entre otras cosas, he hecho un osito en globo como el que hice el verano pasado.

Esta vez el globo era para una niña así que he escogido unos tonos rosas que, en mi opinión, le dan un toque muy alegre.

Esta idea ha resultado ser el regalo perfecto para los más pequeños, así que ahora tengo otros dos globos más en la lista que espero terminar pronto.

During the last weeks I picked up amigurumi again and, among other things, I've made another teddy bear on a hot air balloon like the one I made last summer.

This time the hot air balloon was for a baby girl so I've chosen pink tones that, in my opinion, add a very bright touch.

This idea seems to be the perfect gift for the little ones,  so now I have two more hot air balloons on my list which I hope to finish soon.

Pom Pom Quarterly - Summer 2015

Todos los años por mi cumpleaños me hago un auto regalo, algo que considero un capricho y que compro con la excusa de que es una ocasión especial.

Este año me ha parecido buena idea hacer una suscripción anual a la revista Pom Pom Quarterly para poder disfrutar de mi regalo durante todo el año así que voy a recibir cuatro números, uno por cada estación del año.

Aunque todavía no ha sido mi cumpleaños ya he recibido mi primera parte del auto regalo, la edición de verano que incluye proyectos muy bonitos con un toque muy español que se intuye ya desde el nombre de los patrones: Azulejo, Greco, Manzanilla, Talavera...

Ahora sólo espero tener tiempo para hacer alguna de estas maravillas.

Each year for my birthday I treat myself with a gift, something that I consider a whim and that I buy with the excuse of being a special occasion.

This year I thought it was a good idea to make an annual subscription to Pom Pom Quarterly magazine, so I can enjoy my present along the whole year so I will receive four issues, one for each season of the year.

Although my birthday is still to come I have already received the first part of my treat, the summer issue which includes some beautiful projects with a very Spanish touch that can be noticed just from the name of the patterns: Azulejo, Greco, Manzanilla, Talavera...

Now I only wish to find time to make any of these wonders.

Mis tiendas favoritas de Etsy / My favorite Etsy shops # 5 - LalaKa

Hacía mucho tiempo que no os hablaba de mis tiendas favoritas de Etsy y como no hay que perder las buenas costumbres hoy os traigo una tienda llena de cosas preciosas, de esas que no me canso nunca de mirar.

Estoy hablando de LalaKa una tienda dedicada a artículos de punto para bebé hechos a mano que a mí me tiene enamorada desde el día que la descubrí.

Los diseños son sencillos y para mí ahí reside su encanto, prendas básicas hechas pensando en la comodidad de los peques y con unos colores que alegran cualquier día.

¿No os parecen ideales?


It's been a long time since I lost told you about my favorite Etsy shops and as we should not forget good habits today I show you a shop full of pretty things, the kind I never get tired of looking at.

I am talking about LalaKa a shop specialised in handmade knit items for babies which I am in love with since the day I discovered it.

The designs are simple and for me that is where its charm lies, basic garments made thinking on the comfort of the little ones and with colours that can brighten up any day.
