Garland Sweater

Después de unos cuantos meses tejiendo, por fin puedo enseñaros mi jersey  "Garland"  terminado.

La verdad es que ha sido un proceso largo (empecé a tejerlo en noviembre) pero no me ha costado mucho porque es un proyecto que me hacía especial ilusión así que, en cierto modo, me ha dado un poco de pena terminarlo.

Me imagino que ya no lo estrenaré hasta el otoño que viene pero va a ser un gustazo encontrármelo  otra vez cuando empiece a hacer frío.

P.D: Prometo hacerme una foto con él puesto cuando llegue el momento de estrenarlo...

After some months knitting I can finally show you my  "Garland" sweater finished.

Actually it's been a long process (I started knitting it in November) but I didn't find it hard as it is a project a really wanted to make so, in a certain  way, I was a little bit sad to finish it.

I guess I won't wear it until next autumn but it is going to be really nice to find it again when the cold weather arrives.

P.S: I promise to take a picture of me wearing it when the moment to wear it arrives...

Pom Pom Quarterly - Spring 2019

Ahora que ya es oficialmente primavera me parece el momento perfecto para hablar del último numero de la revista Pom Pom.

Recibí la revista hace unas semanas pero me parecía demasiado pronto para pensar en proyectos de primavera así que he tenido tiempo de estudiarla a fondo y ahora ya tengo claro cuál es mi diseño favorito, el patrón "Davallia"  de Isa Catepillán.

En realidad no me costó mucho decidirme porque me encantó desde el principio y, aunque todavía tengo que terminar algunas cositas antes de empezarlo, ya tengo unos ovillos de DROPS Belle  listos para empezar a ganchillear sin parar.

¿No os parece maravilloso?


Now that it is officially spring I think it is the perfect moment to talk about the last issue of  Pom Pom magazine.

I received the magazine a couple of weeks ago but I thought it was too early to start thinking about spring projects so I have had some time to study it deeply and now I am clear about which one is my favorite, "Davallia" pattern by  Isa Catepillán.

Actually it didn't took me too much to decide it because I loved it since the beginning and, although I still have to finish a couple of things before starting it, I already have some  DROPS Belle skeins ready for non-stop crocheting.

Don't you find it wonderful?

Cosas que me gustan / Things I like # 42 - Beachy Mixed Stitch Cardi

Hace tiempo que no comparto algo de Knit Collage  aunque sus diseños siguen siendo uno de mis estilos favoritos en lo que a prendas de punto se refiere.

Hasta ahora sólo os había hablado de sus gorros y bufandas pero en esta ocasión el diseño que me tiene enamorada es una chaqueta de punto de estilo boho  que con su mezcla de lanas y tipos de punto es perfecta para el tiempo de primavera.

El patrón forma parte de una serie de modelos propuestos para un KAL de primavera de entre los que se seleccionarán (sólo) tres diseños. 

Como podréis imaginar yo tengo claro cuál es mi favorito...

I haven't shared anything from  Knit Collage for a long time although their designs still are one of my favorite styles as far as knitted garments are concerned.

Until now I have only talked about their hats and scarves but this time the design I have fallen in love with is a boho style knitted cardigan that with its mixed yarns and stitches is perfect for springtime.

The pattern is part of a series of styles proposed for a Spring KAL among which (only) three designs will be selected.

As you can imagine, I am clear about which one my favorite is...

Happy (Crafting) Weekend

Como de costumbre tengo varios proyectos en curso (y alguno que otro más en la cabeza) así que el fin de semana aprovecharé para dedicarles un poco más de tiempo.

Espero que paséis un fin de semana muy creativo ♥

As usual I have several ongoing projects (and some more in my head) so this weekend I will make my best to spend some more time on them.
